Happy Birth-YAY

About

This artwork was originally created for greeting cards. Inspired by the fun and excitement of birthdays, I really wanted it to feel somewhat modern but still have a fun goofiness about it. The letters are hand drawn in an overlapping style in bright colors. Confetti falls around the lettering and I loved the play on birth “yay” instead of birth “day”. Licensed in 2023 for use on gift bags and greeting cards, these are now for sale at Home Goods, TJ Maxx and Marshalls.

Hots for You Greeting Card

About

The artwork was originally done in 2023, created after taking a Skillshare course and being inspired by punny ideas. My dad absolutely loved red hots candies and I used the idea of hot and spicy candies to create a fun take on a valentine’s day card. Illustrated with lots of fire and my favorite type of drawing, all the intricacies in the border and background. In 2024 it was licensed by Trader Joe’s and can hopefully be found in stores near you.

The Alphabet in Bloom

About

How lucky was I to be able to illustrate my first ever book?! I was approached to illustrate each letter of the alphabet for a children’s book featuring flower names. What a passion project this was. Illustrated in a very fun and free style with pages bursting with color, this book has been so well received by many. It also included a set of floral stickers. Published by Piccolo Press.

Needlepoint Patterns

About

I was commissioned to create a collection of 6 patterns to be used for needlepoints. These will be sold as ornament kits that crafty people can purchase for a fun winter activity. Since these are going to be fairly small and are for thread art, the details needed to be minimal for beginner artists.

Cheers Congratulations Card

About

The artwork of two women cheers-ing their cocktails (or mocktails) was originally drawn around 2022 out of a desire to be inclusive and show the unity of women. I chose to keep it simple and clean but also fun and light. The lettering “cheers” appears at the top, lettered in a whimsical script. Licensed soon after, this card was available in Trader Joe’s across the country.
